Anxiety is a natural reaction to the events in the external world and also to our internal world, what we think and feel. Anxiety serves to keeps us safe, it protects us from potentially dangerous situation, it pushes us to act, it often means we achieve the difficult tasks we need achieve in order to succeed in life. However when anxiety takes over our lives it can feel anything but natural. When we are no longer in control of our reactions to the external world or the internal world, anxiety is overwhelming and can take control of our lives.
I have worked with many clients over the years to start to take control over their out of control anxiety. Using a combination of Mindfulness exercises, neuroscience and listening and encouraging you to talk about your experience of anxiety I aim to support you to make the changes you need to make in order to start feeling like yourself again.
