Walking and Nature Therapy - Utilising the healing power of Nature with the healing process of counselling. 


We are blessed with beautiful country parks and small woodlands walks within Brentwood and the surrounding areas. Together we will explore which area you are drawn to for your sessions.

There are many benefits to Walking and Nature therapy sessions including lowering heart rate and blood pressure, and the release of feel good endorphins. Research has shown that trees release essential oils called Phytoncides which effect our nervous system in lowering our levels of the stress hormone Cortisol. The woodland soil has also been shown to contain microbial life which again supports a healthy immune system.

It also offers an opportunity to move into Being (present) mode rather than Doing (thinking) mode, through mindfulness based sensory exercises.


The sessions are £60 for a 1 hour session.

Sensible and comfortable footwear is essential, and on occasion a waterproof coat.

Sessions are conducted all through the year, and the only exception to this is extreme weather conditions such as high winds, heat waves or heavy snow.
